27th December 2003 Windsurfing: Brogborough Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 15 - 25 mph Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 6 Sea Temperature: cold Weather: cloudly / showers Max Speed: Distance Covered: Had I nightmare journey upto Brog some some pratt decided to stick there car in the central reservation on the M1 so it was shut, had to take the back roads all the way to brog an hours journey instead of 20 mins. Arrived at brog rigged 7m on big board then went to get changed and busted the zip on my wet suit ! Knew it was gonna go sooner or later of all neil pryde winter suits sold at club last year mine was the only one with the zip still working. I was lucky had the last new one of my size in the shop. Got all suited up in my nice new suit ( with metal zip instead of plastic) Once on the water it was very gustly with lots of holes lots of practise of staying on the plane in the lulls. The wind didn't really pick up anymore was having to pump alot to get up on the plane most of the time, its nice to plane past ppl who on blobing on bigger sails though! |
